However we see it, the action we take now, is going to determine the future. Time for action is NOW. Grieve, moan, groan but get on with it.
Opening my heart into my Tuesday Health blogs, my inspirational messages and laughter on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and my Zoom Laughter Sessions on Fridays, are my outlet, creating space for me to look at all the good that is still out there for all of us. And it is working well for me, as it is enabling me to see our future with optimism and laugh my way there.
Time to ponder about the future
We are resilient people, it isn’t easy for anyone of us at the moment. That said, I am holding dearly to my belief that “even this will pass”. For those who are feeling lost and uncertain as you may have recently found yourself without a job or closed your business or in limbo with so much uncertainty abound. Take a deep breath, close your eyes and ponder on the next best course of action with the luxury of time and space on your corner.
By all means, moan and groan and most definitely grieve, as you and I have lost a whole way of life so abruptly. The process would get rid of the energy we don’t need. And then, turn around to face reality squarely on its face. With not very many choices, we need to rise like the phoenix from the ashes with renewed vigour and optimism to set our course to a new beginning with the sun, moon and the galaxies as your witness. A good book to check out if you have lost a business “The Hypomanic Edge: The Link Between (a Little) Craziness and (a Lot of) Success in America."
Use this time to talk on the phone/social media, listen, unlearn and learn from others who are in the field of your interest and study the new trends. The world we knew has changed, period. Let’s use this intermission that has dropped on us unexpectedly, taking wise steps, planned with precision into the right path to our next destination.
Resilience kicks in when we need it most
Yeah, it may feel like the light at the end of the tunnel is not even a glimmer at the moment. This is when we need to believe in the light. Courage, resilience, optimism and the get-up-and-go attitude is most needed at this stage and it is all within us, just a matter of evoking it. If you are not ready yet, get your thinking cap out of the hat rack NOW.
Share and care
We are all in this together and it would be utterly soul-enriching and soul-cleaning to share and care in times like this. Consider talking, journaling and putting thoughts on Social Media of your choice. Letting it out is cathartic for self and it would be comforting for others to know of similar experiences.
